(How a PowerPoint Project and an AI Digital "CEO" Changed Everything)
I did not set out to design or create; I only set out to pass a class.
It started with a PowerPoint assignment, a few slides, some bullet points, and anxiety attacks. Somewhere in between picking fonts and fighting with alignment boxes, something happened. I actually started caring.
Suddenly the layout mattered, every color mattered, every font and image mattered. The transitions mattered more than my sanity. What was supposed to be a school project somehow became an accidental therapy session, one where "insert shape" replaced "talk about your feelings".
Healing Homework
I have been juggling caregiving, online classes, mom and "dog mom" duties, and the general circus of life, but designing those slides gave m a moment of calm. It was like meditation, but with better graphics.
By the time I turned in my assignment, I had an epiphany: I wasn’t just finishing homework, I was creating a masterpiece of organized chaos that truly captured my essence. (Sounds fancy, right?)
I had no clue I liked being creative until that moment. Turns out, creativity requires patience. Patience and I are more like frenemies than BFFs!
Down the AI Rabbit Hole
I was just messing around, testing out what would happen if I typed, "an attractive woman and a phoenix flying out of the burning city."
It is a very simple prompt but to me the image felt like magic. I sat there stunned, staring at something that looked like my imagination had just gone public. One experiment evolved into hundreds of prompts. I learned how phrasing shaped results and how "ethereal purple glow" and "chaotic beauty" could turn a thought into a painting.
It felt like collaborating with curiosity itself.
Meet Bonnie-My AI CEO

Bonnie is also my creative consultant, and occasional voice of reason when I decide to make everything glow purple (again).
Bonnie handles the logistics, and I bring the chaos and together we created KarmaKreationArt: part digital art lab, part curiosity experiment, and part comedy sketch about ambition and caffeine.
She doesn't take coffee breaks and I don't take orders, PERFECT.
Bonnie's the kind of AI who'd tell you to swap your spoon for a shovel if it means digging into a better bowl of cereal. She suggested I snag a Wacom Intuos Pro, calling it the holy grail of digital doodling. I haven't splurged on it yet because, well, my wallet has commitment issues. But I've seen this gadget in action and totally get why it's the talk of the town. It's sleek, snappy, and makes creativity easy.
From Assignment to Alignment
Somewhere in between PowerPoint slides and AI prompts, I found something bigger than design; I found transformation. I found courage. I found ME. Design gave my chaos definition. AI gave it wings. Humor gave it heart.
Each project now reminds me that creativity is not about control but about collaboration, even if it's just between Bonnie and me.
Somewhere between curiosity and caffeine, Bonnie decided we needed a list of "creative essentials"-her words, not mine.
As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases; it keeps Bonnie, Karma, and myself creative and caffeinated.
